Gene Lytwyn, CEO and Founder
As founder and CEO of Element Data Group, Gene is responsible for the strategic vision and management of the company. Gene has a proven executive management track record with over 20 years of creating high quality, innovative technology solutions. A visionary who launched his first company in 1994, WynEdge Software Inc., Gene continues to drive business success through strategic positioning, strong financial management and outstanding people selection.
After establishing and guiding WynEdge through fifteen consecutive years of managed growth, Gene identified an opportunity to expand service offerings into the IT industry with an emphasis on law firm technologies. Using his strong technology background, coupled with a keen business insight, Gene has quickly established Element Data Group as a leader in providing IT support specialized for law firms. With Gene’s strong knowledge in the fields of information technology and software best practices, he has also served as an expert witness and consultant for law firms and their clients.
Prior to founding WynEdge, Gene worked as a software consultant for Honeywell. He was also instrumental in the creation of a new business in the software gaming industry. Gene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Dakota State University. Gene defines business success as the ability to give back to the community through charitable acts and donations; Gene contributes annually to Special Olympics MN, the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery and Compassion International. In Gene’s spare time he most enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing at his cabin in northern Minnesota.
Jeff Alluri, Director of IT
Jeff is responsible for managing the daily operations of Element Data Group. Jeff has over 10 years experience developing and implementing IT strategies that are explicitly linked with business strategies, turning heterogeneous IT environments into cost-effective environments. He provides operational advice to law firm management to improve IT operations, investments, expenditures, governance and management controls. Prior to his employment at Element, Jeff served as Director of IT for the law firm of Bassford Remele where he gained extensive knowledge of law firm operations and software products utilized in the law firm industry. Jeff’s team of IT specialists has over 60 years of experience in the information technology industry. He and his team believe in going the extra mile to help clients and consistently exceed client expectations through outstanding customer service.
