Element Technologies Celebrates Growth and Recognition with NetDocuments

Recognized as Small-Medium Law (SML) Partner of the Year as well as Hackathon Finalist; further accelerates growth with NetDocuments and cloud solutions in 2021.

Minneapolis, MN – November 23, 2021Element Technologies, a premier technology services and IT company with a strong focus on law firms and corporate legal teams, today announced over 100% growth within the NetDocuments strategic partner channel since November 2020. This record growth is supported by the recent NetDocuments Inspire “SML Partner of the Year” award and recognition as of one of five NetDocuments Hackathon Finalists. To further strengthen its NetDocuments offerings, Element also added 15 new NetDocuments certifications in 2021, and continued their growth as a subject matter expert team focused on sales, data migrations, implementations, and training.

As an increasing number of law firms are accelerating their ‘cloud-first’ journey, Element has reported triple digit implementation and training services growth for new NetDocuments clients including Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad, Leech Tishman, and Martin Pringle.

“When I was first introduced to NetDocuments, I just sat there impressed and wanted this platform yesterday,” stated Michael Stevens, Managing Partner of Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad. “In terms of working with Element and having them guide the firm’s NetDocuments implementation, there were no concerns. There is a lot of talent on their team. Most importantly, I never felt like our expectations were unfairly set, and they delivered as advertised.”

Hacking and Partner Success

As part of NetDocuments’ Hackathon competition, 14 teams representing customers and partners developed workable solutions combining the power of NetDocuments and Microsoft Power Automate. Element Technologies was recognized as one of the top five finalists and leveraged Power Automate and SharePoint to build out a docketing calendar system that tracks docketing events dealing with a particular client and matter which displays them inside of the Overview tab of the NetDocuments web interface. As a result, attorneys can view the Overview tab of any given matter and see the entire docketing history without leaving NetDocuments.

NetDocuments’ second annual Partner Awards, presented during its annual Inspire customer and partner conference, recognized leading companies spanning the ISV network, implementation providers, international partner companies in Asia Pacific, EMEA, and Latin America, as well as partners across all NetDocuments business segments.

“The NetDocuments partner ecosystem has always been an integral part of our annual educational conference, and this holds true for Inspire 2021,” stated Reza Parsia, VP, Strategic Partner Management, NetDocuments. “Element is a valued partner, having concluded an unprecedented 2020 year of growth and even accelerating its NetDocuments success so far in 2021. Our partners are constantly pushing the envelope to innovate and help our customers get the most out of their NetDocuments platform experience. Our “Second Annual Partner Awards” rewards this drive for “intentional innovation” and deservedly honored Element Technologies as Small-Medium Law (SML) Partner of the Year.”

“We appreciate the recognition as NetDocuments ‘Partner of the Year’ as well as making the inaugural Hackathon finalist list,” stated Jeff Alluri, Principal, VP Consulting, Element. “NetDocuments and the mutual customer base are by far our biggest commitment and there is value in not only being awarded for good work but being able to translate that into a better user experience.”

Beyond identifying and closing NetDocuments new business opportunities at a record pace in 2021, the now 12-person Element/NetDocuments team worked with law firms and legal departments to implement the cloud platform and offer certified NetDocuments end user training to assure a smooth Go-Live roll-out and positive user experience. The team recently added Chris Dunsford, Document Solutions Manager. Chris brings a wealth of enterprise content management (ECM) experience to the Element NetDocuments team, having spent 12+ years at OpenText in various engineering, and technical support roles.

Michael Stevens concluded: “At the end of day, I looked to Element, with an impressive group of experienced legal technologists, to hold my hand through the NetDocuments implementation and overall project. It was a big deal because if it did not work out, I’d have 50 people staring at me on a Monday morning wondering what to do.”
