Legal Education
In 2012, the American Bar Association officially added Comment 8 to the Model Rule of Professional Conduct 1.1 covering a lawyer’s ‘Duty of Technology Competence’. Today, 40 U.S. states require technological competency.
While there should undoubtedly be an obligation for attorneys to be technologically competent, they are not alone in this quest to better leverage technology. Element has been working with legal professionals for 35+ years and we understand “the life of a lawyer” and how time-constrained they are. Time literally is money for law firms, so our training professionals adjust training sessions accordingly to provide legal users with the training tools they need, often on-the-fly.
CLE Webinars
Through regular security awareness training, we can improve the overall IT security strategy and reduce costs associated with remediation. The more everyone is educated on how to protect themselves, the better we can protect against a breach into the organization or even into our personal information. Security Awareness Webinars are offered twice a year free of charge to our security clients. These webinars qualify for CLE credits in Minnesota and Florida. We are able to apply for CLE credits in other states upon request. You still have the option of hiring our security team to do ad hoc webinars for your organization.
